Kathrina Rudolph mainly works with press fotos from the "Süddeutsche Zeitung", Munich.
In this exhibition new large-scale paper works are shown besides some series of her former works.
In these she uses techniques which come from the workshops of the old masters of the late medieval ages. They are made with gesso, engraving and bole gilding. In these images she deals with the subjects of war and trauma, political power and the fate of the individuals.

Women from Bangladesh

When I came to Bangladesh in 2007 I had in mind to do a project about a series of portraits of women from Bangladesh.
