This series was developed during a two-month residency in Orivesi, Oriveden opisto, near Tampere, Finland. Every day I chose one image from one of the two daily newspapers "Helsingin Sanomat" and "Aamulehti". This was meant to work like a diary: the images were my personal choice whereas I was bound in it to the range of images that were offered in the newspaper. So my personal view and the socialpolitical issue of the newspaper were interlinked. Additionally I chose for each image one word from the underline which seemed fit to me, without knowing the meaning of it. The images of the series derive from the first three weeks of my stay.
