Charcoal Tracings are transformed directly onto the wall by a bag stuffed with coaldust. The drawings are made on tracing paper and are pinced with a needle along the lines. Through these holes the dust is punched and then sticks to the wall. Traditionally this technique was used in frescopainting or with the transfer of textile patterns. The samples for the drawings come from international daily newspapers.
